Alicia's Birthday! Here it is - the final image. The image that Alicia and I worked so hard to achieve. She found the perfect outfit, balloons and of course set out her roller skates. This is the vision she had to display at her 50th birthday, blown up next to her baby picture! What a cool way to celebrate!
The craziest thing happened. One day my mom randomly gave my 4 year old daughter an 18mo dress to wear. While the dress was ADORABLE and my daughter is quite petite, it was way to short! I posted the dress on our local Buy Nothing Group. No one seemed to bite. She mentioned that her daughter might fit in it if no one else claims it. While messaging, we realized we worked for the same company. Bonus, we also both have 2 years olds! We met for a playdate with the kiddos and chat almost every day. During this time she saw my posts for Joyful Bee Photography. She inquired about an idea to get a photo of herself blown up for her 50th birthday party. We discussed numerous locations, like Sims Park and James Grey Preserve. But ultimately settled on Cunningham Park - which was the best decision! The lighting and coloring at Cunningham Park is absolutely perfect for photos!
Alicia's beautiful daughter joined us for the session, how could I not capture a few images of her!?!!
We scoped out a few spots around the part. And believe it or not, Alicia went through the whole session on her roller skates! I mean most of us are lucky to be move on pavement, but she was going through grass and dirt like it was no big deal! What a wonderful time capturing these images for such a special event!
